New Horizons summer update Animal Crossing: New Horizons gets new limited-time seasonal items

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons summer update wave 2 just dropped late last month. It brought some new features to the table, including firework displays and dream states, among other additions. Now, some new limited-time summer seasonal items have appeared in the seasonal tab of Nook Shopping, available until Aug. 31. Time to spend some Bells?

The first item costs 2,000 Bells and has a somewhat ambiguous name. The “Rodeo-style springy ride-on” is a static, spring version of a rodeo horse, present in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to celebrate the Cowboy Festival. The other summer products are two items of clothing to celebrate Cowherd & Weaver Girl Day, a historic event celebrated at various festivals in Asia every August. The Hikoboshi outfit and the Orihime outfit both cost 2,500 Bells. They provide a nice contrasting set of blue and red robes for players to don.

You can grab these new limited-time seasonal items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by heading to the seasonal tab of Nook Shopping, situated in the Terminal in Resident Services. These items follow those that were introduced with the International Children’s Day update back in June. The new additions to the store are a nice extra for the second half of the summer update. The summer’s first scheduled fireworks show took place yesterday, Aug. 2.

Will you be grabbing these before they disappear?
