As we head into 2020, the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons begins to draw ever closer. Anticipated for years by fans of the cutesy life simulation franchise, the latest Animal Crossing entry has been dripping out new little tidbits of information over the last year. Now, a triple-threat of news concerning the game has been dropped by Nintendo.
The official English boxart for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been revealed, and it’s almost identical to the artwork used for the Japanese release of the game. The only difference is in the design of the logo for the English boxart, which is reworked to match the localized name of the series. Alongside the boxart reveal, an adorable new trailer for the game titled “Deserted Island Getaway Package Primer” has been released on YouTube. It shows the Nook family announcing their new deserted island travel package to a room of enthusiastic Animal Crossing villagers.
On top of gorgeous boxart and an adorable new trailer, a series of brand new screenshots for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is also live, showing off some seasonal fun and multiplayer action on the gorgeous new island.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set to release for the Nintendo Switch on March 20 this year.
