Animal Crossing OST

The Animal Crossing OST is set to release tomorrow in Japan, and we got a sample trailer from Nintendo and Nippon Columbia, featuring tracks from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The new Animal Crossing: New Horizons soundtrack is the first official OST since the 2009-released Animal Crossing: City Folk ~Forest Concert~ album. Before that, a Japan-only Animal Crossing: The Movie OST was released in 2006, so there haven’t been many official Animal Crossing soundtracks.

As previously detailed, the soundtrack comes in two compilations. One is a BGM collection, which features 173 tracks of select background music on four discs for 4,950 yen (~$45.45). The other one is a K.K. Slider soundtrack featuring 95 tracks, including rare and unreleased songs, on three discs for 4,400 yen (~$40.39). Both will release in Japan on June 9, 2021.
