Capcom released a new launch trailer for Monster Hunter Rise, which launched today, and it shows that Apex Rathalos will join in a free title update next month. The Elder Dragon Chameleos is also joining the new Rathalos in the Version 2.0 update.
Monster Hunter Rise – Launch Trailer
The trailer starts with a look at some of Monster Hunter Rise‘s new features, starting with some Wirebug action and Wyvern Riding. It also gives us another look at Kamura Village and the intense fights called “Rampages” where you’ll take on multiple monsters at a time.
The new Apex Rathalos makes its appearance towards the end of the Rise trailer. As for the free title update ver. 2.0, it will arrive sometime in late April. The first major update for Monster Hunter Rise adds not only Chameleos and Apex Rathalos but “several new monsters” to the mix. The update will also unlock the HR cap along with other related features.
A ver. 3.0 free title update is also confirmed in the trailer. While it still doesn’t have a release window (TBD), it shows that it will add several new monsters and a new ending.
