After speaking to one of the developers of Armikrog on the E3 show floor, I was informed that the Wii U version of Armikrog would release “substantially later” than the other versions of the title. The developer claimed that this was due to the fact that the studio wanted to make absolutely full use of the Wii U’s unique system capabilities (e.g. the gamepad), and did not want to disappoint fans by simply releasing an identical port as the other console releases.
For those that don’t know, Armikrog was originally a Kickstarted title that hit its Wii U stretch goal of $950,000. For more information on the title, make sure to check out the official Kickstarter page!
