It was pretty awesome to discover that T-800 from the Terminator franchise would be coming to Mortal Kombat 11 with the physical likeness of Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, some were disappointed to learn that his voice would not actually appear in the game. It turns out we might be getting the next best thing though. Daanish Syed, senior UI artist at Netherrealm Studios, has revealed that Schwarzenegger selected the voice actor to portray him in Mortal Kombat 11.
We’ve already revealed that Arnold was not able to do it, but he did choose the actor that is doing his voice.https://t.co/HcAz6NmWTY

This definitely alleviates my fears that we were going to end up with some embarrassing impersonator that ruins the entire Terminator experience. I’m pretty sure nobody knows what Arnold Schwarzenegger sounds like more than Arnold Schwarzenegger, unless there is some extremely dedicated psycho fan out there.
T-800 joins Mortal Kombat 11 on Oct. 8, following Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, who already released as part of the Kombat Pack. Sindel follows on Nov. 26, followed by the Joker from Batman on Jan. 28 and Image Comics’ Spawn on March 17. Spawn will be voiced by accomplished actor Keith David, who previously portrayed the character in HBO’s ’90s animated series.
Are you perked back up to play as Terminator T-800 now that its voice actor has the blessing of Schwarzenegger himself? Let us know!
