Persona 5 on Switch never give up hope, Atlus communicators manager Ari Advincula

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is about to release for Nintendo Switch in Japan. A Korean ratings board listing suggests that Catherine: Full Body is coming to Nintendo Switch. Shin Megami Tensei V, despite almost no updates, is still planned for Nintendo Switch. Basically, the only major game from Atlus presently missing for a Nintendo Switch launch is regular ol’ Persona 5 itself. But when asked about this by IGN, Atlus communications manager Ari Advincula said, “I am a strong believer in ‘never ever give up on hope.’”

She emphasized how important it is for fans to keep expressing their desire to see Persona 5 on Switch to Atlus, as that’s the only way to push the needle forward. “You want what you want, and if you don’t let us know it we’re never going to be able to make it.” Advincula describes herself as an “internal champion” for Persona 5 on Switch but has no actual decision-making power in that regard.

So in truth, this is the same old strategy we hear every time anyone wants to see a specific game on a specific platform: Be vocal about it and hope that decision-makers at a company listen. Particularly, it would be terrific to receive the enhanced Royal version headed to PlayStation 4 at the end of March.

What do you think are the chances of Persona 5 on Switch at this point?
