The original Tales of Symphonia was a gem to behold on Nintendo’s mighty power box, the Gamecube, and since then its gone on to have more sequels, books, cds, and more.  Since the Tales series has pretty much seen action across the various consoles, the series producer, Hideo Baba, thought more games in the series belonged on a console more \”deserving\” or what more people wanted to \”play on\”.  That console is the PS3.

He continued to reiterate his belief that more people prefer to play a game from a series like Tales on a system like the PS3.  Baba acknowledged that even though the PS4 and Xbox One will have much stronger CPUs, GPUs, and memory along with superior visual effects he still wouldn\’t sway.  As for the Wii U he addressed it as well.

\”Same as the Xbox One and PS4, I don\’t have any plans to release titles for the Wii U,\” said Baba.

It was announced last week that the Tales of Symphonia Chronicles which is an HD bundle of Symphonia and Dawn of the New World would arrive in North America in early 2014 for PS3.  Currently, until Baba changes his mind we will be left with one tale untold.
