Rolling Stone recently published a feature on Bethesda’s interest in single player games in the midst of multiplayer’s popularity in the modern gaming landscape. Within the article was some quotes fromBethesda vice president Pete Hines, who had some great things to say about Nintendo.

First, Hines mentioned that a majority of Bethesda employees are fans of the Switch:

We like Nintendo, we’re all big fans, and a vast majority of all are owners of the Switch and play games on it,”

Then, the VP talked a bit about how Doom was received on Switch:

We spend a lot of time and effort as do the developers, making great games and we want as many people to play them as possible. So far, we’re most pleased about how some people seemed stunned and amazed that Doom works and looks amazing on your Switch. We’re proud of that.”
