When you have skulls, roaring demons, and magical women wielding swords, you have a metal album cover. Well, usually. In this case, we actually have the official box art to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, provided by Mana Ikeda. Check it out in the tweet below:
Bloodstained fans overwhelmingly asked for the official box art to be painted by #Artplay's incredible Mana Ikeda (aka @Vusc). We thought that was a great idea, so here you go…Official Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night box art by Mana Ikeda!" pic.twitter.com/BzYho5AzLh

The recent Nintendo Direct revealed that Bloodstained will launch in summer 2019, and there is a new gameplay video to accompany it. Incidentally, the music to this trailer is genuinely super metal:
I’m an especially lucky person, because I had the privilege of meeting both Koji Igarashi and Mana Ikeda at New York Comic Con 2017. I got a photo with Igarashi — holding whips, no less — and I got both of their autographs on a pretty fantastic piece of art. Between this and the fact that I adored Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, I am definitely ready for this title to finally release.
