Square Enix has announced a new Bravely mobile game titled Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights as a 10th anniversary commemorative title for the series.
So far, there hasn’t been much announced for the new smartphone title, but it will include original characters and popular characters from the Bravely series. As far as gameplay goes, it will feature the familiar “Brave & Default” system that we’ve seen in past Bravely games. Square Enix didn’t share any information about new features, but the Brave & Default system will be optimized for smartphones.
Keiichi Ajiro, who worked on the scenarios of Bravely Default and Bravely Second, is writing the story for Brilliant Lights. It will feature an original story with crossovers from various worlds of the Bravely series.
