Animal Crossing: New Horizons cloud saves Brie Larson Mr. Resetti

Brie Larson makes her Nintendo fandom pretty clear. She wants to star as Samus Aran in a Metroid movie, she hyped for Luigi’s Mansion 3 like the rest of us, and she’s been starstruck in the online presence of Nintendo bigwigs like Doug Bowser. Based on two recent tweets of hers, she’s evidently pretty excited for Animal Crossing: New Horizons as well. In one tweet, she seemed to really love some new villagers that we’ll be seeing in the game. In a later tweet, she quoted a tweet by a different user who was begging for info on the fiery Mr. Resetti’s whereabouts. Brie Larson’s Nintendo love is as strong as ever.

When it comes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Brie Larson seems to be a woman of few words, but her hype is obvious. She also seems to pretty much have the same priorities as the rest of us: gushing over new villagers and wondering where the heck Mr. Resetti got off to. (Hopefully, we will all have an answer to that one when the game debuts on March 20).

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is shaping up wonderfully (especially now that Nintendo may have gone Mr. Resetti on the game’s needlessly restrictive one-time save data recovery policy), so it’s no surprise that Brie Larson has it in her sights. I kind of wonder how engrossed she is with the hype machine–it’s funny to imagine a big-time Hollywood star frantically refreshing Nintendo of America’s Twitter feed every morning in search of a Direct announcement.
