A few months ago, Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer was announced during a Nindies Showcase for a Spring 2019 release. Hyrule fans everywhere got quite excited. A roguelike rhythm game where you can play as Link and Zelda that features iconic music from the series? The game’s launch could not come quick enough. Fortunately for Zelda enthusiasts, a solid release date may have been uncovered today.
Unleash that sweet Zelda cadence upon us
If you check out the product page for Cadence of Hyrule, it still lists the title as launching Spring 2019. However, a Twitter user by the name of NWPlayer123 found an interesting detail in the source code for said webpage:
Just an FYI, the May 30th placeholder has been on the CoH page since it went up. On of the people in the CotND discord server found the Object.freeze code a couple weeks ago. At least there is some hype this week now 🙂 pic.twitter.com/QPcTLFUHS5

Well now. Based on my superb reading eye, it appears Cadence of Hyrule will be launching May 30, 2019. This means…two days from now. I did not believe the Spring 2019 release window meant late spring, but I will happily eat my hat in order to try out this game.
