When it comes to the Nintendo Switch, Capcom has been a bit of an odd bird with support. Ultra Street Fighter II appeared to do well, and Resident Evil: Revelations 1 and 2 was confirmed for the Switch, but games like Monster Hunter XX have been regulated to Japan only with no North American release in sight. Today, during Capcom’s financial report, we got some news on the two titles they have released for the Switch.

Ultra Street Fighter II was referred to as a “smash hit” on the Nintendo Switch, and Monster Hunter XX reportedly “performed strongly” in Japan.

So that leads to the big question: if both of these games, which are essentially ports of older titles, managed to do well on the Switch, when will Capcom put more of their chips in Nintendo’s newest platform? Only time will tell.
