Castlevania: Rondo of Blood physical game release re-release TurboDuo Limited Run Games Konami

How? Why? I don’t know. But it’s happening: Limited Run Games will provide a physical re-release of Konami’s Castlevania: Rondo of Blood on TurboDuo, marking the first time it will be localized in English for its original platform. The original version on TurboDuo never left Japan, though an essentially remixed and remade game called Dracula X eventually came to SNES in the West. Castlevania: Rondo of Blood was later made available to the West on the Wii eShop and then as part of Castlevania Requiem. But if you want the highest amount of hipster street cred, you’ll want to grab this English physical version of Rondo of Blood for TurboDuo from Limited Run, whether or not you own a TurboDuo. (We had a TurboGrafx-16, but it broke.)

Limited Run Games made many more physical game release announcements where that came from today. RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, Zombies Ate My Neighbors/Ghoul Patrol, Axiom Verge 2, and River City Girls 2 and Zero are all on the way, for instance. Also, this past April Limited Run announced an incredible Castlevania Anniversary Collection physical release involving multiple versions and just too many bonus extras to even count. If you like to own all your games physically, you have a lot of new options before you.

Stay tuned for more details on the physical re-release of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood on freakin’ TurboDuo.
