International Children’s Day has come to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Like last month, June is bringing a host of in-game events to your island. There’s currently a wedding photo event, but you can also pick up new limited-time items as part of International Children’s Day, recognized by various countries on June 1 each year.

As you can see, for the entire month of June it’s possible to pick up a special item, the “handmade crown,” through Nook Shopping. Also, a “handmade cape” will go along great with it!

If a crown and cape isn’t enough for you, then you could go much further. There are loads of different items that could be used to decorate your house and island for International Children’s Day. From toys and toy boxes to cardboard trees, dinosaurs, and the various tables and chairs that all look quite childish, you could turn your island into a safe haven for kids for the day.

It’s worth noting that within the same tweet, the official U.K. Animal Crossing Twitter account also teased some other time-limited items, being a “thank-you Dad mug” for Father’s Day, a summer solstice crown, and a winter solstice sweater. The summer solstice takes place on June 20, so we should be able to celebrate that event in style.
