Pokémon Hamster maze

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if a hamster played Pokémon? Well, if you are asking yourself that very specific question — we have your answers. A YouTube channel by the name of The Hamster Maze Adventure has uploaded a new video where a little hamster explores a Pokémon maze with detailed buildings.

The maze is themed around the Kanto region, complete with routes and towns to explore. Iconic locations have been recreated, such as Mt. Moon, and they’re all extremely detailed. Various sprites for Pokémon and characters are scattered throughout the overworld. At the beginning of the video, the hamster encounters the lovable Professor Oak.

Our little hamster friend also gets into a few Pokémon battles, defeating the likes of a wild Beedrill and Team Rocket Grunts. He even takes on Giovanni — talk about a brave hamster! The video includes music and sound effects from Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, adding even more charm to this adventure.

Two other mazes have been created on The Hamster Maze Adventure channel, themed around Fall Guys and even PlayStation 5. Other nifty Pokémon projects have been created recently elsewhere though, with generation 8 Pokémon being redesigned into Game Boy sprites and much more. We will likely see official announcements throughout the year as well, with 2021 being the 25th anniversary of the franchise. What do you think of this Pokémon hamster maze adventure?
