It just isn’t a Nintendo console if there isn’t a Cooking Mama game available on it. The adorable culinary video game series first debuted in 2006 on the Nintendo DS, and over the years new entries in the series have regularly poured out for almost every subsequent console in the Nintendo family. The Wii U was sadly left out of the fun and never got a Cooking Mama game, but thankfully the series is ready to make a return on the Nintendo Switch. We learned about Cooking Mama: Cookstar back in August of 2019, but a new trailer for the game reveals that we’ll be able to get our hands on it sometime next month.
A new trailer for Cooking Mama: Cookstar has been perhaps prematurely uploaded to Dutch retailer Nedgames website on their official store listing for the game. In the trailer, we see a title card at the end revealing a launch window of March 2020 for the latest entry in the adorable cooking saga, as well as an MSRP of $39.99. The trailer shows off some adorable new recipes like a rainbow grilled cheese, as well as some fun photo modes that let you flex your sous-chef skills.
Cooking Mama: Cookstar is set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch sometime in March.
