Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is getting lots of love on other platforms, but has not come to Switch yet despite bits and pieces of evidence hinting at the existence of a port. Now, we’ve got another suspicious occurrence suggesting that a port could join games like Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on Switch: YouTuber Canadian Guy Eh discovered a Nintendo Switch profile hidden within the game’s INI file. It might be “leftover” code from Unreal, but it also makes some references to Falcon, the project name of Spyro Reignited Trilogy. That implies that developer Toys for Bob may have used some code from that project in setting the basis for a Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time Switch port. Check out the video below for more.
What do you think? Will we be seeing Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on Switch before too long, or will we be left in the dust? Personally, even without evidence like this, I’m expecting the game to make its way over eventually. It only makes sense, given how three previous Crash and Spyro titles have landed on Switch. Occurrences like this one only cement my conviction that the game will eventually find its way to Switch.
