MandyCan, a leaker who just recently gained notoriety for correctly predicting Byleth to headline Fighter Pack 5, now asserts that the next DLC fighter will be the orange terror himself, Crash Bandicoot. They also state that they will not bring any other leaks forward until Crash is revealed with Fighter Pack 6, which I imagine could happen at any time between the next Direct and E3.
the main reason i started posting to Twitter was to build a resume for myself. i only direct messaged a couple of people about it because i did not know if it was legit or not. i did not want to become "out there" until Crash officially came to be with the other info. (continued)

Since MandyCan is still a pretty new face on the leaking scene, I wouldn’t put too much trust into this proclamation just yet. I personally will keep a much closer eye on what MandyCan says in the future if they end up correct about Crash Bandicoot (and man, I hope they’re right). They deserve credit for calling Byleth all the way back in October, but that easily could have been a lucky guess, considering Sakurai’s known affinity for Fire Emblem and the recent success of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Crash Bandicoot is a pretty “safe” guess too, all things considered. He’s one of the more popularly requested characters, he’s enjoyed a resurgence in recent years behind his remastered trilogy and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, and sources indicate that he’s got a brand new game on the way.
byleth is fighter 5 in the first challenger pack :0

How would you feel about seeing Crash Bandicoot join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? Do you think MandyCan hit a lucky guess with Byleth, or do you believe that they’re legit? Are you holding out hope for Dante or someone else instead? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments.
