Cris Tales release date Nintendo Switch Modus Games Dreams Uncorporated SYCK time turn-based RPG

Turn-based role-playing game Cris Tales has been garnering attention for a while with its beautiful art style and unique time-bending mechanics, and we were thoroughly impressed with it at E3 2019. The game comes from publisher Modus Games and developers Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK, and it was announced today that the game will launch on Nov. 17 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia for $39.99. The game will also come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at a later date. Additionally, an existing Cris Tales demo on Steam and GOG has been updated with new enemies and a Colosseum battle mode.

Modus Games offers up an idea of what to expect from this unique RPG:

Cris Tales is a classically inspired RPG where past, present and future are brought together on one screen. Players can use Crisbell’s amazing ability to slip between eras, aiding citizens across Crystallis’ kingdoms and pushing enemies to points in time for an upper hand in battle. Cris Tales’ hand-drawn, Colombian-inspired world is a charming pairing of fantasy, with tributes to real-world architecture and landmarks, making every step of this enthralling journey a delight to explore.

If you want to see more of the game in action, enjoy over 22 minutes of gameplay below. Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK might have something really special on their hands here.
