Publisher Deck13 and developer Radical Fish Games have revealed CrossCode: A New Home, a DLC expansion for CrossCode that will launch on PC on Feb. 26 for $8.99 and will come to consoles like Nintendo Switch in summer. The story will pick up right where the end of the core game left off, continuing the journey of Lea and her assorted colleagues. “The time has come to once and for all finish the raid,” declares PR. CrossCode: A New Home will offer between 8 and 10 hours of new gameplay, including the largest dungeon ever seen in the game, as well as new music and more enemies and bosses to battle.
Nintendo Enthusiast loved CrossCode, especially following some bug fixes, and apparently most people who have played the game feel the same. It puts a modern spin on SNES classics like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Secret of Mana but also just piles hours upon hours of content to explore. I regrettably still haven’t found the time to embark on its huge adventure, but I plan to change that at some point this year — perhaps around the time the DLC launches.
Stay tuned for updates on the release date of CrossCode: A New Home on Nintendo Switch as summer approaches.
