Crysis Remastered Trilogy trailer Nintendo Switch release date October 2021 fall Crytek 2 3

Back in June, Crytek announced Crysis Remastered Trilogy for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and today it received a release date of October 15, 2021. Additionally, Crytek has released a few different trailers, demonstrating the difference in detail if you play on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X over PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 respectively. For fun, we’ve embedded the PS5 trailer below, but since we’re a Nintendo site, we’re mostly just gonna focus on the Crysis Remastered Trilogy teaser trailer, which we’ve also embedded.

On Nintendo Switch and other platforms, Crysis 2 Remastered and Crysis 3 Remastered (which include only the single-player campaigns) will launch individually for $29.99, though a physical release will follow later on Nintendo Switch. Crysis Remastered is of course already available on Switch and other platforms, and it holds up surprisingly great all things considered on the hybrid console. However, on basically any platform except Switch, you can buy a digital bundle of Crysis Remastered Trilogy for $49.99. The consolation is that the physical releases of the Nintendo Switch games will include an exclusive bonus card, and “twenty art cards randomly inserted into day one orders for each format will be numbered and autographed by members of the development team.” It’s an odd strategy but better than nothing.

Upon its release date in October, Crysis Remastered Trilogy will offer “improved lighting and visually enhanced characters, weapons, and environments, plus high-definition textures for crystal clear images” on all platforms.
