During today’s Nindie showcase that took place earlier today, Nintendo announced that Cuphead would be arriving to Switch later this year. The game will launch on April 18. This announcement is particularly surprising given that the game was originally pitched as a Microsoft-platform exclusive. The game has not been announced for PS4 either, but Nintendo said the game is being published on Switch with the “help of Microsoft.”

Cuphead was critically acclaimed when it launched for the Xbox One and PC in September of 2017 after years of fans waiting. The game currently holds an 88 out of 100 on Metacritic. Will you be picking up Cuphead when it launches?
