Last July, Studio MDHR announced that it was delaying Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course until 2020. Since then, there has been no news on this highly anticipated DLC. In fact, even after the developer appeared on Geoff Keighley’s Summer of Gaming stream today, The Delicious Course still only has a release date of “when it’s ready.” However, Studio MDHR’s COO and Lead Inking Artist Maja Moldenhauer did make it explicit that the DLC will release simultaneously on all platforms when it arrives — including Nintendo Switch and… PlayStation 4.
Yep, the big news from this event was that Cuphead is launching for PlayStation 4 today.
The Delicious Last Course
This latest DLC for Cuphead is set to add a host of new features to the game. The story sees players helping Chef Saltbaker on a quest to uncover the mystery of the Legendary Chalice’s secret quest. Ms. Chalice will be introduced as a new character with a modified move set and new abilities. Once players unlock her, she’ll become playable across both the DLC and the main game. In addition to new enemies and bosses to face in the DLC, there will be new weapons and charms to collect too in Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course.
