Cyber Hook Blazing Stick Graffiti Games

The 1980s had a quaint vision for technology and the future, and that unique vision persists in art to this day. Somehow, if you have a grid made of cubes and there’s a sunset in the vast distance — bam, you have yourself a bona fide ’80s techno landscape. Cyber Hook captures this aesthetic in spades. It’s an upcoming 3D platforming speedrunner from developer Blazing Stick and publisher Graffiti Games coming to Nintendo Switch and PC in Q2 2020.

A new trailer gives you a taste of the visceral parkour on display in this title, bolstered by a grappling hook that lets you swing around and scale walls.

Cyber Hook will offer over 70 levels of parkour and feature worldwide leaderboards to encourage players to improve their navigation strategies. Blazing Stick and Graffiti Games further offer this: “Warp time to save yourself from falling to your death and discover new movement options to make it past challenges. In Cyber Hook, you can forge your own path by abusing physics and breaking the level design.”

Basically, top to bottom, Cyber Hook seems like a fun time, so we’re looking forward to seeing more of it. But if you need more futuristic or retro-futuristic Switch games in your life, you can also check out Cloudpunk and Aeon Drive.
