The Nintendo Switch Dock gives the system the unique ability to be effortlessly connected to a TV, and then disconnected when a user wants to play in portable mode. Not only does the Switch Dock connect the system to a TV, but it also unlocks the full performance capabilities of its Nvidia-processor since it ‘switches’ from using battery power to AC power.

Even though the Dock clearly does a lot of good things, not every Switch owner is happy with it. Some users have ended up scratching their Switch’s screen due to docking and undocking the system. Others have found that their system has ‘warped’ (been bent slightly out of shape) due to heat building up while the system was sitting inside the Dock. If you’ve encountered either of these issues or want to avoid them altogether, then the newest product from Japanese company CyberGadget just might interest you.

It’s called the ‘Dock Extension Attachment’. It allows you to connect your Switch to the Dock without actually inserting the system into the Dock. This is because the adapter is what goes into the Dock, and it has a USB-C cable that you then connect to the Switch.

A product listing has appeared on Amazon, setting its release date for April 30 and a price of $20.97. If you can get it imported, then this just might prove to be useful.
