Whilst the hugely anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t coming to Switch just yet (never say never), that’s not stopped this concept come to life. Tomek Dittrich on Twitter has posted an awesome concept of a Cyberpunk 2077 Game Boy. The “Nightcity CYBER BOY” may not be a real item, but the 3D render looks very good indeed.
The clip shows the Game Boy spinning next to a stack of games showing off CD Projekt Red titles. There are the three existing Witcher games there, alongside a cartridge for Cyberpunk 2077 of course. The whole concept is brilliantly designed, and the theme matches the overall Cyberpunk 2077 vibe very well. Now all we need is an “order now” option.
As a great fan of both #GameBoy ? and #Cyberpunk2077 ? I couldn't resist to mix those two in my latest @blender_org project: Nightcity Cyber Boy – a retro gaming console of the future ?@BlenderNation @BlenderArtists @CDPROJEKTRED #Cyberpunk #Retro #RetroGaming pic.twitter.com/giy1G1nQ77

The Cyberpunk 2077 Game Boy design is reminiscent of what is seen in the official Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X system, which launched this past June. Limited editions coming to market months before the game’s release is somewhat odd, but that Xbox was a bit of a different case. CD Project Red’s next title has incredible hype behind it following The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and is set to release on PC and the other consoles this November.
Would you pick one of these up if they were built? Either way, we hope to see Cyberpunk 2077 on a Nintendo system someday.
