Daemon X Machina

A short four-minute animated trailer for Daemon X Machina has released on Marvelous’s YouTube channel. The fully animated trailer shows off some events and characters from before the beginning of the game as well as some flashy high-flying combat. It’s a fun watch even if you aren’t all that interested in the game.

The short animation was produced by Satelight, which has worked on mech series such as Macross and Aquarion. The studio has also done game work on Persona 2 and the opening that was added to the 3DS port of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.

Daemon X Machina is being developed by Marvelous First Studio and produced by Kenichiro Tsukada, who also produced the Armored Core franchise. True to its roots, Daemon X Machina is a hard-hitting, high-flying mecha combat game that pushes the Switch hardware pretty hard. Check out some of the actual gameplay trailers if you don’t believe me.

Customizing a mech and a pilot, you’ll be taking the fight against evil AIs and enemy pilots alike. Daemon X Machina comes out on Sept. 13 as a Switch exclusive. It will be sharing a release month with both The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition. Stiff competition for a niche title like this.

Are you excited for the spiritual successor to Armored Core? What did you think of the demo that launched earlier this year? If you weren’t impressed by the demo, you should take a look at this improvements trailer that released earlier this month.
