de Blob 2

THQ Nordic has announced that a de Blob 2 port will be coming out on August 28 for Nintendo Switch for just $29.99. de Blob, the secret step-uncle to Splatoon, came out way back in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii. It and its sequel are puzzle platformers that see you utilizing painting abilities and gravity shenanigans to solve problems and liberate Prisma City.

The sequel features 12 new single-player levels, as well as new power-ups and a suite of boss battles. It also features a co-op mode similar to the co-op in Super Mario Galaxy or Super Mario Odyssey.

de Blob 2 first launched in February of 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS. Just last June, however, the game was ported to PC platforms. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports also happened in February of this year.
