skateboard Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise release date July 10 Nintendo Switch

Deadly Premonition 2 is nearly here on Switch, as its July 10 release date is right around the corner. Now, developer Toybox Inc. and publisher Rising Star Games have treated us to a new trailer, and it’s just as strange as you’d think. Le Carré may look like a typical southern American town, but the trailer quickly takes a turn towards the unusual.

The trailer shows us the quaint surroundings of Deadly Premonition 2, including the town’s local bowling alley and swanky hotel. Then, much like one of its huge inspirations, Twin Peaks, we learn that what’s going on isn’t quite as it seems. The back half of the trailer shows off more sinister imagery, ending with a hint that you might struggle to find your way out.

Deadly Premonition 2

Deadly Premonition 2 will be an open-world mystery adventure, much like the first. It focuses on agents solving mysterious murders. While the first game saw York walk, run, or drive, this time he will have the option to skateboard too. We’re not exactly sure how this addition will help with solving the murder, but it might make the journey more fun along the way.
