DeNA West CEO Shintaro Asako has announced that the DeNA and Nintendo development deal will span five games that will all be released before March, 2017. The first mobile title, as previously announced, will be released before the end of 2015.

Each of the five games will be created in a different game genre using a different Nintendo IP. According to Asako, this is because the company wants to attract “hundreds of millions of people” to their games.

Nintendo’s partnership with DeNA was first announced earlier this year. According to the deal, Nintendo owns more than 10% of DeNA, while DeNA owns roughly 1.25% of Nintendo.

Eli buys virtually every Nintendo title that comes out but has expanded his collection to include amiibo. He hasn't taken them out of their boxes, though, so he might be a bit insane. When not playing video games, Eli likes writing about politics and games. He also runs a decent amount. Outside.
