In a recent interview, the CEO of DeNA West, Shintaro Asako, said that he believed the company’s partnership with Nintendo could completely “change the market.”

“I think this is potentially an opportunity for us to completely change the market.”

These comments came after revealing that DeNA and Nintendo are working on a total of five mobile games for release by March, 2017. Each of these five games will incorporate a different Nintendo property in a different genre.

Do you think that DeNA’s partnership with Nintendo could completely change the market of mobile gaming, or do you think that the status quo will stay in place? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
