The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt review Panic Button is not working on it The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Light Edition

Will it be ported or not? That is the eternal question facing fans hoping for a port of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to the Switch. With frequent retailer listings, the rumor simply refuses to die. Time and time again, we see a Switch port teased for the game. Today, a tweet from voice actor Doug Cockle has raised even more eyebrows.

Cockle, who plays Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher 3, retweeted a fan page asking for a Switch port. Cockle asked his following whether they wanted to see the game ported to Switch. At the end of the tweet, the actor added in a winky emoticon, raising speculation even further.

The Witcher 3 originally launched for the PS4, XBO, and PC in 2015. The role-playing game was considered one of the best titles of the year, holding a 93 on Metacritic. While the game is a massive undertaking to develop on the PS4, let alone port to the Switch, fans have been optimistic since the port of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Skyrim came to the Switch not too long after launch, showing that the Switch can run a massive fantasy adventure like The Witcher.
