Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories demo live Nintendo Switch eShop granzella nis america

Life-changing disaster has struck the earth, so surely you’d love to play a demo for a game about… life-changing disaster. Hmm. Well anyway, a Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories demo is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop and digitally on PlayStation 4. This title from developer Granzella and publisher NIS America will release on April 7 for $59.99 standard or $89.99 for a limited edition we detailed previously. If you’re unsure if you want to take the plunge on this game, this demo should be the best thing to sway you one way or the other.

With a name like Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, you basically know what you’re getting into. You stroll into town for a job interview, which gets interrupted when an earthquake decides to wreck literally everything. After that, the name of the game is survival — and also deciding who else is worth your time and effort to help. Interestingly, the Kobe City Fire Bureau was involved in devising some of the game’s scenarios.

The trailer for the game isn’t the most beautiful around, but maybe that’s fitting for a game with this subject matter.

It’s possible that Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories may not end up winning any Game of the Year awards, but it’s a fun concept that warrants further development. If your interest is piqued for Granzella’s title, give the demo a shot on the Switch eShop. The game will release for Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam come April.
