Doom was one of the first popular first-person shooters, and in 2016 id Software revitalized it in a major way. Simply titled “DOOM,” the 2016 reboot made old fans fall in love all over again, while a whole new generation experienced the joys of demon-hunting for the first time. Four years later, Doom Eternal hopes to raise the bar with an even bigger and more intense experience. The sequel launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia on March 20, but the launch trailer just went out early. You can check it out by clicking below!

What about the Switch?
If you’re a Nintendo Switch owner and you’re disappointed by the lack of Doom Eternal, hang in there! Although there is a bit of a delay, it is coming to Switch later this year. No official release date has been announced at this time, but we’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, you can check out the 2016 DOOM on the eShop, or go old school with the originals. Doom 64 is also getting a Switch port on March 20, so you can enjoy that while you wait. The Switch version even has exclusive content, including a brand new chapter and motion controls.
