Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a fantastic homage to the more explorative Castlevania titles. It also keeps getting free DLC, which just increases its replayability and awesomeness. And while we received two games in its retro brethren series, there had been no inklings Ritual would get a sequel. Until today! The holding company, Digital Bros., recently put out a financial report that indicates a Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel is in development.

I adore Metroidvanias, so I would welcome a Bloodstained sequel with open arms

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel

It’s nice to see Ritual of the Night have a high Metacritic score and great sales.

Note the specific language used at the end: “Second version in development.” More likely than not, that means a sequel. However, it COULD mean something like an all-inclusive package of the first game bundled with all of its DLC. Regardless, E3 is right around the corner, so hopefully, we’ll know the truth soon.

Enthusiasts, what do you make of this financial report? Do you think it pretty much guarantees a Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel? Let us know in the comment section below.
