Dr. Mario World review

With the recent announcement that Dr. Mario World will be shutting down (and no longer possible to play) come November, Nintendo’s mobile catalog is taking is a hit. For fans who are still enjoying frequent doses of Dr. Mario World, the app’s closure is quite disappointing, but one has to wonder how many gamers are actually still playing Dr. Mario World on a regular basis. After all, if the game were lighting the world on fire the way that Mario Kart Tour did, we probably wouldn’t see it shut down. So, are you still playing Dr. Mario World? Did you ever pick it up in the first place?

I don’t really play mobile games often at all. Dr. Mario World did not fuel any exception. I never downloaded the app, never tried it on a friend’s phone, never even really bothered to learn much about what it was. Mobile games of that sort aren’t really my jam, and I didn’t have a phone great for playing games when Dr. Mario World came out, anyway.

Did you ever play Dr. Mario World? If you did, what did you think? Will you miss it when it leaves app services later this year? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
