Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have revealed the next Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character with Android 21 (Lab Coat). The announcement comes from the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Champion Japan Regional Finals, which took place earlier today. If you were wondering, it’s an actual new playable character, too, and not just a skin for the currently existing Android 21.
The character Android 21 is the main antagonist of Dragon Ball FighterZ, designed and created by Akira Toriyama. Her currently playable version takes on more of a “Majin” appearance, but the new Android 21 will be her pre-transformation form with her lab coat and checkered dress as we’ve seen her in story mode. Producer Tomoko Hiroki revealed the new Android 21 (Lab Coat) DLC character at the end of the Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament and said that it would be coming soon.
So far, we only got to check out a teaser trailer, so we don’t know much about her moves. For now, you can watch the Android 21 (Lab Coat) reveal trailer below:
Dragon Ball FighterZ is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The last DLC characters that joined the game were Gogeta (SS4) and Super Baby 2 from Dragon Ball GT.
