During its Nintendo Direct that took place earlier today, Nintendo revealed the release dates for Dragon Quest XI S and Dragon Quest Builders 2. Dragon Quest XI S will be coming this fall. The game will have several new features that the PS4 version did not have. First off, this version of the game will have the 2D “retro” version of the game that was on the 3DS version of the game. Since the 3DS version only launched in Japan, the Switch version will be the only way to play this part of the game in the West. The Switch version will also have an orchestrated soundtrack. Not too shabby given the wait!

Dragon Quest Builders 2, meanwhile, will be launching July 12. We will keep you updated on new details as they are available.
