The rest of 2020 is turning out to be an exciting time for Nintendo fans. Age of Calamity is hitting next month, and Pikmin 3 Deluxe is out tomorrow. But what about 2021? Independent studio Spacebot Interactive has something special in mind to gift gamers early next year. It’s the new RPG, Dragonborne, and it’s releasing on the Nintendo Game Boy.

No, Dragonborne isn’t a port of Skyrim

Is your interest piqued? My sense of horror certainly is. That is the scariest graphic of a yeti I have ever seen.

In all seriousness, I’m digging Dragonborne‘s style. It looks like a cross between Final Fantasy Adventure and Link’s Awakening. Battles are turn-based, with your character choosing between attacks and using items. In other words, it’s decidedly old school.

If you are interested in the project, you can pre-order a copy of the game here. Pre-orders close November 30, and the title is starting to ship in January 2021. In addition to multiple endings and a 6-to-7 hour runtime, Dragonborne comes in a physical package reminiscent of the Game Boy!

Enthusiasts, will you be snagging a copy of Dragonborne? What do you think of the monochrome adventure? Let us know below.
