In a recent interview with Olivier Proulx, the producer on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Proulx revealed that Eidos Montreal never even considered putting the latest title in the franchise on the Nintendo NX. Their focus has been on the PS4, Xbox One, and PS4 versions.

Although Nintendo may not be the home to many third-party titles, the previous game in the franchise, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, did come to the Wii U in the form of a Director’s Cut. Some were optimistic that the game’s sequel could make it onto a Nintendo device as well.

“We’ve never thought about the NX,” said Proulx. “Right now there’s nothing new to announce there. We’ve just been looking at PC, Xbox One and PS4, and that’s been our focus.”

When asked if he would bet on an NX version, the producer responded by saying: “I can’t bet on this.”
