Today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase dropped a ton of news, including some brand new game reveals. Nintendo also provided another look at some previously announced games too, one of them being Empire of Sin. Romero Games’ strategy title set in 1920s Chicago got a new trailer and a release date. Empire of Sin launches Dec. 1 on Nintendo Switch. Preorders aren’t live just yet, but they’ll net you an exclusive in-game mission and a gangster to prowl around Chicago as. As the release date has been confirmed for this year, we’d expect eShop and retail preorders to go live soon.
The new trailer introduced us to Goldie Garneau, a French nightclub singer who operates a seedy crime syndicate, the Fortune Tellers, as a bit of a side project. The clip shows how Goldie Garneau is able to beat out rival gangs by taking advantage of other “players” in her “symphony.” Hopefully this means each gangster has some unique options to make use of throughout Empire of Sin.
Get ready for Romero Games’ Empire of Sin ahead of its Dec. 1 on Switch.
