With the new “Unified Minds” expansion for the Pokémon trading card game, a new distribution event arises for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! From August 9 to September 6, certain retailers in Europe will hand out a special event Mewtwo for the Switch games, to tie in with the TCG expansion.

Earlier today, Serebii reported that the level 70 Mewtwo will clock in with maxed out Awakening Values. Additionally, it will know the moves Psychic, Amnesia, Recover, and Teleport, with Team Rocket boss Giovanni listed as its original trainer!

Unfortunately, its Nature is randomized, so keep your fingers crossed for a fitting nature once you redeem the serial code. Failing that, there’s always the in-game Mewtwo lurking in Cerulean Cave if you haven’t caught it yet!

At the time of writing, the Mewtwo distribution is only confirmed for a handful of retailers in Europe; you’ll have to trek to participating Smyths Toy Stores in the United Kingdom or Germany, and PicWicToys in France. Sadly, no such distribution is confirmed for the Pokémon: Let’s Go games in North America at this time. Should The Pokémon Company International announce otherwise, we will update this story accordingly!

Are you taking advantage of the Mewtwo distribution next week? Let us know in the comments!
