European players, why does Nintendo not like you to use your systems?

Similar to that of some 3DS models, the upcoming SNES Classic Edition will not come packaged with an AC adapter. In the case of the 3DS, it’s sort of okay because the system uses the same power brick as the DS family, but the SNES Classic Edition does not have the same luxury. Nintendo of Europe must be trying to help people save on their electricity bill, or something. If you only intend to buy this for your display collection, then I guess you don’t have to worry.

The North American and Japanese variants will be packaged with the needed power brick, at least.
