Fairy Tail release date worldwide March 2020 digital edition

Fairy Tail, the surprise JRPG from Gust and Koei Tecmo announced back in just September, will release worldwide on March 19, 2020. This information comes by way of a Koei Tecmo livestream about the game, which also revealed details of bonuses and special editions of the game for Japan. How much of this content will be available outside of Japan is currently uncertain, but the English digital deluxe content is confirmed. Also, everyone who buys a first-print copy of the game will receive a special Erza costume download code.

The digital deluxe edition of the game will include the following:

  • Fairy Tail software
  • Team Fairy Tail A costume set
  • Rapid Growth Lacrima (Set of 5)
  • Digital Deluxe-exclusive Gust collaboration “Ryza” costume for Lucy

For Japan at least, a limited edition “Guild Box” edition of the game will come with the following extras:

  • Fairy Tail software
  • B2-size cloth poster
  • A special copy of the “Weekly Sorcerer”
  • 3D character cards (Set of 3)
  • Special sticker set

Finally, Gust Shop’s “GS Combo Set” comes with the standard edition, the Guild Box edition, and more extras:

  • B2-size tapestry
  • Lacrima paperweight
  • Original soundtrack (2 discs)
  • Postcard set (Set of 5)

Gust’s stylish Fairy Tail RPG will release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam. Will you be buying it?
