Famicom Wars

Nintendo has a long, rich history of classic series and games. Unfortunately, not all of those titles have made it over to all territories, but on a luckier note, Nintendo just showed some willingness to revisit those titles today with its announcement of the impending localization of the very first Fire Emblem game. Previously unavailable in America, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light will be available on Switch December 4, but fans are already looking forward to other games that Nintendo could localize for the first time. What retro games would you like to see localized?

I know that the most popular answer will be Mother 3, so I’ll spotlight something a little different: the very first Famicom Wars, which spawned the series now known and loved as Advance Wars. I’m interested in seeing this one come over solely because I’m a sucker for the Wars games, and I’d love to take a look at how they all started. Now, of course, I’m also very much down for Mother 3 and any other number of previously unlocalized Nintendo titles.

What Nintendo game would you like to see get localized outside of Japan for the very first time? Why? Let us know your pick in the comments below.
