The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a great entry in the series. Fans adore the game, and for good reason. It reinvigorated the Zelda formula and is a unique take on the open-world genre. To show the title some love, talented directors Lee Jumi and Seon Seungyeon created a fan made animation. It’s out of this world.
At times, fan made works take one’s breath away
Seriously, you have to see this trailer to understand its majesty:
What’s impressive, besides the visuals and music, is how the animators condensed the game into roughly three minutes of footage. It captures major story beats, locations, encounters with friends and foes, and the wonderful sense of scale and adventure that is BotW‘s main accomplishment. It’s no wonder the trailer ends with a tribute to both Nintendo and Studio Ghibli since those are the exact two companies that sprang to mind while watching. Either one would be all the better if they collaborated with the duo.
Enthusiasts, were you blown away by the fan made project? Does BotW hold a special place in your heart? Also, are you excited about its darker sequel? Let us know down below.
