Fatal Frame: maiden of black water no princess zelda zero suit samus costumes nintendo switch re-release koei tecmo

In 2015, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water was released in North America exclusively for the Wii U, and it featured some special Nintendo costumes, allowing players to cosplay as Zero Suit Samus and Princess Zelda. Now that the game is releasing for Nintendo Switch and every other platform later this year, many were hoping that these costumes would return for the Switch version. However, developer Koei Tecmo has outlined on the official website that the Zero Suit Samus and Princess Zelda Nintendo costumes won’t be available in the re-release of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, even on Switch. Instead, the game will be receiving new costumes, and there is an early-purchase bonus costume for Yuri, the “Ryza Outfit” and “Ryza Hat” from Koei Tecmo’s Atelier Ryza franchise.

Recently, a new trailer was released for Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water that confirmed the release date. It also announced the various editions available at launch, such as the Digital Deluxe Edition, as well as anniversary bonuses. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will launch on October 28, 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The various costumes for Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will also be available at launch. Did you play the original version, and if so, will you be buying it on Switch?
