Steve guide for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Master the Steve moveset guide competitive play

Up to this point, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has welcomed eight DLC fighters to the fray, seven coming through Fighters Pass DLC packs. We’ve butted heads with off-the-wall additions like Piranha Plant, lost our minds over long-awaited newcomers such as Banjo and Kazooie, and seen some very unique movesets in characters like Hero and Steve. There are four new characters yet to be unveiled, each of whom will join Min-Min and Steve in the second Fighters Pass. While some great surprises certainly await us, so far, reactions to the second Fighters Pass have been mixed – Min-Min wasn’t that widely requested, and Steve is quite a divisive addition. Where you do you stand? How you do feel about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s second round of DLC thus far?

At this stage, I’m fine with it, but not incredibly excited. After Banjo got in, I had everyone I needed, and at that stage I just wanted fun characters, unique movesets, and maybe a few long-shots off of my wishlist like Phoenix Wright or Crash. I don’t care much about Steve or Min-Min, but they’re perfectly fine to play as and they spice things up just enough. I hope that the rest of the Fighters Pass is a little better, but I don’t regret my purchase.

How do you feel about the second and final round of Super Smash Bros. DLC? Let us know in the comments below.
